Burial

Difficult one to answer. You are not supposed to think about your child's burial. They are suppose to do it for you.

My husband has always been pro-burial and I am all for cremation, ever since I was diagnosed with autoimmune diseases. I always assumed I would be first and I do not want to use up space.

So I was completely surprised by my husband when he wanted Liam cremated. Mainly because he did not want Liam in a box in the ground.

So we decided that we would divide the ashes into three. One part will be for us and to keep Liam close to us. Another part will be for the church's Wall of Remembrance and the last part of we will scatter in Arlington Cemetery in Washington DC. He wanted to go there for his 16th. We will try to honor it.

So it depends on your religious beliefs and your personal; reasons. But do not let anyone force you into a choice you do not want. Especially if they have not walked in your shoes.
